Belize 1: San Ignacio
This country has so much to offer- jungle caves, Mayan ruins, tropical islands! In this first episode about Belize, Laura takes you along to the Belize zoo, which makes a great stop on the road from Belize city to San Ignacio. Then, you'll hop on a little hand cranked ferry across the Mopan River to the Mayan ruins of Xuanantanich. You'll also hear about the ATM caves. Swim, wade and hike your way to the sacred Mayan ritual site, still containing sacrificial human remains.
